Helpful overview of the important topics
This was an informative and educational experience that I enjoyed while deepening my knowledge of border, and wine in general
Bordeaux 101
I purchased Bordeaux 101course to attain an appreciation of the course contents and quality, which led me to purchase the French Wine 201 course. I purchased the French Wine 201 course to gain more insight the French wine. My son and I are viewing the 201 course videos together. My son has recently completed WSET 3 and is going on to enrol for the French Wine Scholar. Regards Daryl Drake
Highly recommend this course!
We are planning a trip to Bordeaux and we wanted to know more about the region since it has so many wineries. What is good about this course is that it gives you a broad overview of the history, terroir (new word for me), and the appellations (regions). It also goes into the different grapes (Cabs, Merlots, etc.). But this course also dives deeper into each of these topics. Like Cliff Notes from school (show my age), but with more meat on the bone. There is a lot of information available on many of the chateaus, which most people (including me) won't likely access; but it is there. The course provides short videos, and then follows up with text. I can honestly say that I can walk into a local wine store, ask for the Bordeaux section, and then confidently navigate myself around the wine options! Great value for the dollar!
Bordeaux not yet started
I haven’t got to the Bordeaux course yet. I’m working on Wine 201 and it’s fantastic.
Just OK
Bit thin on info. Glad I bought this at 50% off. Would not get involved in anything similar.
